Terms & Conditions for Training: Event First Responders LTD

1. Booking and Contract

  • 1.1 A binding contract is formed once Event First Responders LTD issues a written booking confirmation via email.
  • 1.2 For Qualsafe-regulated requalification courses, the customer must provide proof of a valid First Aid at Work certificate. If the certificate is found to be invalid, the learner may be refused entry; no refund will be issued.

2. Payment Terms

  • 2.1 Full payment is required at the time of booking unless a credit account has been pre-approved.
  • 2.2 If you have a credit account, Payment MUST be paid in by the due date on the invoice/proformer.
  • 2.3 Payment Methods: We accept major cards via Stripe. If using Klarna, please note this is only available for individual consumers (B2C) and cannot be used for B2B company bookings.
  • 2.4 Certificates will not be released until full payment has been cleared.

3. Cancellations and Rescheduling

  • 3.1 Cancellations by Customer:
  • More than 14 days’ notice: Full refund (minus a £10 admin fee).
  • 8–14 days’ notice: 50% refund.
  • Less than 7 days’ notice: No refund.
  • We do offer to reschedule another course within the next 3 months at 50% of the original price, excluding offers and discounts.
  • 3.2 Rescheduling: One free reschedule is permitted if requested at least 14 working days before the course start date. Subsequent changes will incur a fee.

4. Course Attendance and Physical Ability

  • 4.1 Lateness: First aid training is time-regulated. Learners arriving more than 20 minutes late may be refused entry to comply with Qualsafe contact hour requirements. No refund will be issued.
  • 4.2 Physical Fitness: Learners must be physically able to perform floor-based CPR and the recovery position as per RCUK 2025 guidelines. If a learner can not perform these tasks, we can issue a “Certificate of Attendance,” but a regulated certificate cannot be awarded. 
  • 4.3 Appropriate clothing: The delegate must consider what they wear; if any clothing is considered inappropriate, the trainer has the right to remove them from the class. You will be kneeling and lying on the venue floor. 

5. Training Materials and Medical Updates

  • 5.1 All training follows the 2025 Resuscitation Council UK changes and HSE regulations.
  • 5.2 EURneffy Training: Our courses now include familiarisation with the EURneffy nasal spray. Please note that while we provide training on the use of the device, we do not provide medical prescriptions or the device itself.

6. Liability

  • 6.1 Event First Responders LTD holds Public Liability and Professional Indemnity insurance.
  • 6.2 Our liability is limited to the total cost of the course fee paid by the customer. We are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss.
